Cambridgeshire Choral Society gives the opportunity for amateur singers from all parts of Cambridgeshire to take part in the performance of major choral works under a professional conductor with professional soloists and a full orchestra.

Fiftieth Anniversary Celebration Concert
in King's College Chapel

2010 marks the Fiftieth Anniversary of the formation of the choir, and the Choir is now beginning rehearsals for a programme to include:

A new work by Andrew Parnell, commissioned for the occasion:
Music's Joy and Song's Eternity
For Baritone Solo, Chorus and Orchestra

together with:

John Rutter's Gloria
Finzi's Intimations of Immortality
Parry's I was Glad and Blest Pair of Sirens

The concert will take place in King's College Chapel, Cambridge, on February 6th 2010 at 8pm.
